The Steam Content servers are being overloaded with download requests and simply cannot support the requests of so many people at one time. think of it this way, 1 door with 10,000 people trying to go through it is going to take time to get every1 through isnt it, especially when your all shoving. 2/ My download of CS/DOD/TFC etc. has begun but is now stopped on minutes why? what do i do? As above the steam content servers are overloaded with downloads and have become laggedwith so many requests as a result downloads have been halted. Just close the download window and try again later when the steam servers are not as full 3/ My steam has stopped on "Updating Steam Platform...." ! what do i do? If So try REstarting your computer or Re-Downloading Steam from A trusted steam mirror.
